This is the first map made by the Red Faction community. Of course, the first custom map was Sniper City by Brad Johnson, but he was one of the designers of the game.
As for the total beginnings, it's not bad. The map is still playable and can be a lot of fun. |

Having been made just 11 days after RF's PC release, this is the earliest playable community-made map to ever be released for the game.
 It's not the best map ever - geometry is basic, lighting is basic, item placement is unremarkable, and the gameplay leaves much to be desired. I otherwise probably would have given it a neutral rating, but given its place in history, I can't help but recommend everyone give this one a try at least once. |
