This map is insanely well-constructed for its release date and that's about all it has going for it. I agree with Goober that it has the feel of a default but if this would have actually shipped with the game it would undoubtedly be the worst map in the line-up. Here are the four most obvious problems: • Bad room-corridor-room design. CTF maps left this shit behind way before 2001 so this doesn't get a pass. • It's enormous and has few pickups. There are a total of nine armors in this map and a good deal of them are in the middle of fucking nowhere. Not counting those there's scarcely enough armor to support more than three players. • The water sections are neat looking but completely unusable. It's worth noting they would have been amazing for griefing in 2001. • The flag room is hilariously bad. Like, it's actually worse than Checkmate bad. The only way it could possibly be more bad is if the flag stand teleported players outside to fucking water world. It does look really nice for a 2001 map. Shame it's unplayable. |

I absolutely love this map. Incredibly well made, and feels just like a default. The only issue with this map is that it requires more players than you'll normally get in an RF server these days. :(
Nonetheless, it's a fantastic map. I'd definitely recommend it if you can get the players. |
