Welcome to MalvernX. A mini-game filled multiplayer experience that takes Red Faction to a whole new level!
MalvernX includes 5 ALL NEW GAMETYPES:
1----Domination
2----Targets
3----Invasion
4----King Of The Hill
Or You can just play regular Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Capture The Flag
with new fast-paced elements that makes the game have more arcade-felt excitement.
*To play Domination, both teams must fight and control as many of 5 control points for as long as possible. Once a member controls a control point, their team gains points for the length of time it is controlled by their team. They must protect it and not let an opponent get to it. When the game timer is finished, all team points are calculated. The team, who controls the most total amount of time for all 5 control points, wins the game.*
*To play Targets, both teams are assigned their own targets. Each team must simply destroy as many targets as they can until the time is over. During this process, the teams may attack each other to slow down their success. The team who had destroyed the most targets when the timer is over, wins the game.
*To play Invasion, each team will take turns attacking and defending their base�s center point. When one team is assigned to attack, they must run to their opponents� base and enter the center point at the back of their base to score a point. The defending team must simply prevent the attacking team from reaching their base center point. When a team scores, the assignments will switch. The attacking team will have 2 minutes each time to score a point. If they do not score a point within 2 minutes, the assignment will switch, giving the other team a chance to attack. By the end of 8 minutes, the team who scored the most points, wins the game. *
*To play King Of The Hill, both teams must battle for stance the hill, located in the center of the map. Once at least team member stands on the hill, the hill will be controlled by that team and they must hold their possession for as long as possible. Killing all opponents on the hill will give you the chance to stand on and control the hill. When the timer is over, the team who stood on the hill the most, wins the game.
MalvernX mod contains:
*alternate action-packed weapon skins and effects (For example, tweaked damages, rocket speeds and changed explode ranges)
*More crisp weapon, explosion and impact sound Effects
*Camera shakes for more weapons to add better action effect
*Larger Explosions, and enhanced blood decals, splashes, sparks and ricochets
*Project Justice voice packs for each distinctive character
*Death pounding and headshot sound effect
For the mini-games:
*Map auto-calculations of the team winner, triggering keyframes to allow the winning team to access a flag to end the game and game-over boxes to withhold the losing team until the red team completes their flag victory.
*Fast-paced blood-pumping Game type-specific music soundtracks that keep the game fun and energetic

The settings for all 4 games must be:
1---Capture The Flag Mode
2---Highest Possible Time Limit (The actual time limit is implemented in the maps)
3---One capture to win
4---Balance Teams
5---No Team Kill

(WARNING: Late-joiners of the server distort the gameplay. The server MUST BE RESET once ALL players are in the game so the timings sync
