Would of rather had normal checkpoints at the spawn, annoying having to go through all the shortcut cp's

A very good first map, it is hard in some parts, but the Perma-shortcut checkpoints balance that out nicely. Lots of variation and flavor in the obstacles. The map is confusing sometimes parts, but that hardly detracts from the map. Obviously the map needs a bit better texturing, but that will come in time. The most important part is that brushwork is very good for what it is. No obviously misaligned brush's or rooms.

A run map veteran has released his debut map!
Really good for a "first map". My favorite parts would probably be the room where you have to bounce off the wall to get around the glass, and the room with the floating squares that you go inside and then on top of. Neat. I like re-use of obstacles like that. The only thing that really needs improvement is texturing, but as I said it's already very good for a first map. Better texturing will come in time. The description is spot-on with the difficulty. Medium-hard. All in all a very good map from t.m.j.b. Hopefully we will see more. |
