This map is just amazing. As some one who doesn't play run maps, I found myself constantly drawn into this map and it's atmosphere. The obstacles were fun and forgiving. The fact that you can pick up where you left off made me feel more compelled to just push on. This kind of lenience I think makes this the perfectly accessible map for the inexperienced.
10/10 on the visuals, obstacles, music, and overall construction. Killer map. |

I really enjoyed this map, probably exponentially more then others, I was so 'Editor' sick of my own maps. leading up to the run event, Dex was fast, high energy, pretty easy / med, and really intense in certain bits. (I got no sleep the night before the event, so it really had a powerful effect on me. I really liked the phyco-delic areas of it. The last bit kinda blew my mind. (it was a similar to that bit in DR7, but way more intense) I actually thought i would be first to finish cause of all moon run experience, but goober beat me. Also i really like how you used bolt emitters. the super thins, and the really massive ones were a great effect
'I really wanted to Win-Dex' Run' lol |

This map is fantastic, easily one of my top 5 favorite run maps.
DEX Run is a clean, short, fun, approachable, and very fair run map centered primarily around jumppad use, which is a relatively novel concept in the genre. On top of that, Cyrus really is a professional when it comes to creating atmosphere and mood. This is a very simple map - it uses fairly basic geometry, push regions, particles, soft lighting, and about 5 textures all together. Nonetheless, the visuals are cohesive and warm, and the map feels great to play. Great work, Cyrus! |

Freshest thing in the run map game for years. The quality you expect from Cyrus, with a theme you might not. Killer tunes, consistent visuals, fun progression through the map.
Probably a good intro to RF runs, especially for those who may have played similar maps in other games. |
