The theme for the Red Faction Unite 5 project was "Maps from Other Games", so I chose one of my favorite maps from one of my favorite games.

RFU5 - The Dark Zone is a reimagined version of dm6 (The Dark Zone) originally developed by Tim Willits and released with QuakeWorld in July 1996. The layout of this map has been significantly changed to facilitate the best possible gameplay in Red Faction. The visuals have also received a complete overhaul and the aesthetic of the end product is somewhat of a Quake-inspired take on Red Faction's stock visual theme.

Thanks to all the Red Faction developers, players, and fans at the Red Faction Community Discord (http://RFChat.com) who keep the game alive to this day, nearly 20 years after its initial release. Special thanks go out to all of my fellow RFU5 mappers - it's nothing short of amazing that we were able to pull off this project a full 15 years after the last RFU project concluded. Great job everyone, and I look forward to playing all of the awesome RFU5 maps with you all for years to come!

Yet this is another dark hellish map but with demonic statues?! Dude they are looking so badass and even the Quake marine as well, i can even walk between this guy's legs Great job again.
