Preperation

Before installing this program I recommend you create a folder and extract the
entire contents of the maps1,2,3,4,en vpp files into it.
I would also suggest making a temp folder to store files while you work.

Installation

Install this program by double clicking the setup.exe icon.
You may install to any directory you wish.
So far this has only been tested on WinME.

Purpose

The purpose of this program is to make finding particular files within the vpp's
easier. The program uses the definitions in the maps.txt files as a guide to splitting
the files into catagorys. You may then copy or replace the files as you wish.

Use

First select your 'TGA folder location'. This is the folder containing the contents of the vpp's. Also select the 'copy to' folder if you wish to use this option.

Click 'Open' and choose a mapsX.txt file. These are available in the tables.vpp file
although I have included copies with this program. These will be in the same directory as the program.

Click the catagory that you wish to use to find files. Use the main catagory to specify
the widest choice or sub catagory 2 for the smallest choice. It seems confusing at
first but its actually a pretty quich way to find files.

Select the particular files you wish to work with from the window at the bottom. You may now replace these files or copy them to another location. If you decide to
replace the files then I suggest you immediatly copy them to another location so
that you may incorporate them back into the original vpp's. Otherwise your
replacements will be somewhere in the middle of about 4000 other files.

Comments & Bugs

Sometimes the file counters don't work correctly. You may find you get an error
saying 7 file copy failures when you only selected 2 files for instance. Nothing to worry about though. The file counters in the status bar work fine. I may fix this
if it causes anyone any real bother.

If the program proves useful then I may include VPP packing features in the next
release.
