This is a very, very small patch that adjusts the behaviour of the Gryphon/Admin HQ area of the game such that stealth is no longer required, but is still available should you choose to use it.

In the stock game, you're forced to enter stealth mode by speaking to the miner under the stairs just before entering the admin area. Players often find this pretty annoying since Red Faction's stealth mechanics are relatively primitive, and it requires you to give up all the weapons, ammo, and armor you've gathered up to this point in the game. This forced stealth sequence is one of the most common complaints players have about the game's campaign mode.

This small patch edits the behaviour of this section such that you can proceed without ever entering stealth mode if you wish.

If you want to use stealth in this sequence, approach the miner under the stairs and you'll enter stealth exactly as you would in the base game. However, if you simply go up the stairs without ever approaching the miner, the game will let you proceed without entering stealth mode (and without losing your weapons!) Absolutely nothing else is changed by this patch.

To install this patch:
1. Extract the "_mpL6stealthfix01.vpp" file contained within this archive to your "...\user_maps\single" directory. (Normally this will be C:\Steam\steamapps\common\red faction\user_maps\single for Steam users, and C:\games\RedFaction\user_maps\single for non-Steam users)
2. Launch the game

CAUTION: I would strongly advise against installing this patch and then loading a save file created after entering the submarine just before this section. Loading any save files created before that should be fine, though.
