Preface: I don't normally play multiplayer and haven't yet on RF on PC but I wanted to check out and explore the Mars Jam submissions anyway.

Flite! 8 is a really pretty map. The illusion of movement in the sky makes it look like you're on a space shuttle or space base flying in space. There are plenty of good areas for defensive positions but also plenty of entrances for offensive pushes. There are powerups present in this map. This map looks like it would be a lot of fun, especially for larger groups of players. I would definitely add it to my rotation if I played multiplayer CTF.

kerpal's geometry design and attention to detail are second to none. His maps are always a pleasure to play, and FLITE is certainly no exception.

It's dark, gritty, and creates one hell of a mood. As I was saying to kerpal during Game Night yesterday: this is one of the few maps where the use of ambient sounds (even the default ones) really helps create a unique atmosphere. The ambience makes the map feel much more cold and alien than it otherwise would have.

FLITE is a fantastic map, and I'd absolutely recommend giving it a shot if you haven't already.
