Description
Egyptian themed CTF map. Small, fast pace layout.

- Ankh is heavily inspired by TF2's Lakeside for Capture the Point and uses the central "chunk" as the starting point for a CTF map.
- The entire map was built in RED. (Palm trees are imported).
- Bases overhauled to work for RF.
- Layout overhauled to work for RF.
- Added new flank route giving the map 3 routes.
- The map was made as a mirror symmetric CTF layout.
- Textures from TF2's Lakeside, Egypt and general textures.

BETA 5 UPDATES:
Beta 5 focused on major framework adjustments. The core map geometry was stretched and shrunk, so to speak.

- Pyramid side of map was stretched out 1 meter from center of map, adding 1 extra meter of path course for flag carrier per side. This change also extended the wood section of the base out by 1 meter, exposing flag carrier to the open for a bit longer. This change was made to help balance out both flag paths.

- 1 other big change on the Pyramid side is that the door entering the "tunnel" section has been increased in size, helping to expose flag carrier and giving a better change to defend when flag carrier enters that area.

- The window was very very slightly enlarged.

- The Temple side of the map also received framework changes. The building exterior was extended 1 meter from center of map towards bases. Keeping the interior the same size. In turn this also shrinks the width of the wood ramp from lvl 1 to lvl 2 and also creates a small hallway entering the temple from the base side. This change also caused level 2 dirt area to shrink 1 meter due to the building extension, this allows more cover on Temple side.

- The pool has undergone many changes over the beta iterations and this time it has been shrunk to fit the room better and allow more surface to walk around.

- Due to extending the map 1 meter in width, the central stairs needed to be adjusted and half a meter was added to the width of each set of stairs.

- WEAPON LAYOUT CHANGES: Very minor changes. The armor and health in temple have been switched and grenades were removed from base (near HMG) and placed in the temple pool.

* This map is still in beta and may have texture / lighting issues and perhaps bugs. Feel free to DM me about any bugs you do find and I'll update for Beta 6.

Looks like an improvement over the previous beta - looking forward to playing it B)

EDIT 8/19/2023 - Tried it 3v3 and 4v4 - I think it is an improvement overall at any player count. It is harder than previous betas, but in a good way imo. Good combination of cap routes that provide enough cover while also providing open spaces for intense combat from all angles. Win or lose, I always love playing this map B)
