Very cool map! Definitely felt like I was transported into another game. My favourite part was all the old cars you built, they were a nice touch! This is one of my top 3 favourites from today's game night!

Preface: I don't typically play multiplayer and never have on PC for RF but I wanted to check out the Mars Jam submissions anyway and enjoyed just exploring their levels.
MafiaTown is a really impressive map. I can see this being a lot of fun, especially with larger groups of players. The assets added into the game including the music, art, and advertisements really added to the aesthetic. The two bases look like a lot of fun for defensive and offensive play. There are plenty of different weapons types and also powerups in this map. This map would definitely be on my favorites list if I played multiplayer CTF. |

Expansive layout, fantastic visuals, and music that fits incredibly well - Mafia Town is a ton of fun to play. I especially enjoyed using the power lines as routes for running flags
My favorite part of the map has to be the awesome brushwork on the cars. They look really, really good, and definitely go a long way toward evoking the mood of the 1920s. It's always a treat to play your creations, and this is certainly no exception. Great work AceR! |

Regardless of the fact that I did not know the Prohibition era, and that I do not like the jazz of the 30s, I think I liked this map.
I got lost along the way, never found the opposing flag, and when I found it, I didn’t find the way back to my base. I was found curled up in a corner of the sewer. It is a quality map, without a doubt. |

I've never played any of the Mafia games, but overall walking through this map felt like I was completely in the world that it conveys (like early 1920's Al Capone NYC kinda vibe). Clearly a lot of love went into every facet and detail in this map to embody that theme. From the textures, the handcrafted automobiles and buildings, and the bopping soundtrack, all of it was just a perfect fit.
As far as gameplay, this map does great with both long and close range combat. A lot of good areas for sniping and some good spots for cover and defense. Routes were also well done and easy to figure out and having a lower route was definitely wise IMO (seeing how this map can be sniper-centric). Lovely work and fantastic experience overall. Great job! |

Charming and fun gangster-themed map!
Navigating through the map felt really smooth. The layout of the map is intuitive and it allows players to explore various interesting locations on the way to the flag (bridge, casino, strip club, wine cellar, apartments, smuggler's storage, etc.). From reckless rushers to sneaky campers, all playing styles will feel at home in this map. You can battle it out in the cold night of the city's streets, sneak around in the sewers, enjoy the scenic route with the trams or test your agility on the quick but risky electric wire path. The city contains lots of meticulous details such as gorgeous posters, old-style advertising placards, cozy lights, vehicles and many others. It looks really great and aesthetically pleasing. The music also fits perfectly with the vibrant CTF gameplay and the created atmosphere really takes you back to the old times. The contrast between the luxurious mobster den and the rest of the city is also something that I liked. I found a small visual bug with flickering borders of stacked boxes which felt a bit out of place, but it's really minor and in no way game breaking. I had a lot of fun playing it and I fully recommend this! PizzaGang all the way! |

This was a really cool map! Loved the design and labour that went into this, having so many options really made this feel like a proper *game night size* CTF map - was just alot of fun. Such a unique map that I've played. Texturing and layout was really well done Good work!

Son: Mom, will you buy me Mafia?
Mom: Why do you want Mafia, son? We have Mafia at home. Mafia at home: Seriously, it's a great map. As Ace wrote in the description, it's quite complexed and you can feel the old times here. There are many paths to choose from. I like the old posters on the walls and the cars on the street. The choice of music also adds to the atmosphere. My favorite room is the one with the cheap booze. The tram trip was fantastic. Lots of details. Beautiful! |
