Difficult, unique, and functionally advanced capture the flag arena map developed in 3 days! This map should require more in depth tactics and teamwork than many other maps. Each team must defend not only their flag, but the building that houses the flag. Most weapons are stored on the top floor of this building. Access to back of building from jumpad and ledge is a bit wonky but does work. A watch tower which can be destroyed exists in the center of each arena for a player to be elected to defend their base from. Geomod can be utilized to diminish the opposing teams ability to fight by destroying their watch tower and flag house. Bases are not colored blue or red, players must maintain awareness to deduce they are heading the right direction. A decision was made to not include fusion launcher due it’s large geo craters. Personal analysis tells me that this map probably functions best in a 4v4 match and above. A separate map to function well with 2v2 may be considered in the future that has both red and blue team spawning within one arena, this map uses two arenas connected by four small caves.

I grew a concern that this map would be too hard and that during rf gamenight nobody would be able score any points for one side to win anything. This update should make it easier and more possible for there to be a team that wins instead of nobody getting a single point.

Remove machine pistol at player spawn points.
Add cutscene cameras.
Add factionfiles signs.
Add ramp to front of each arena.
Add purple lights to arena ramps.
Add armor packs and more health packs.

Not sure if this works as a CTF in its current form. I loved the DM and the map still looks great with lots of atmosphere. Having each team have their own swamp arena seemed a little large though, even with a full game night server. I think having both bases in 1 swamp arena would work better. Also spawning not near any weapons and having to go up to your flag tower to get some, before heading to the other base was a little tedious. I think if you want to do it this way, all the spawn points should be in the flag tower so players can quickly load up before heading out.
