I have been making a new map as some of you already know...
But since I am not a mapper, Nor am I Goober...I am quite sh*t at the technical stuff.

If I don't get help I am not going to bother with the map, since I do not have the skill.

So if anybody wants to help...please email me at calvindore@hotmail.co.uk

I need help with the lighting, and maybe some help with multiplayer spawn points and weapon pickups, quick stuff for a pro I guess...I have not made a map before...everything in the map is new.

The map is my own remake of the ps2 exclusive map blasted canyon (i think).

I added bunkers, an underground area which has 4 entrances, 2 upper sniper positions, and 2 main bunkers.

I will include pics.

Of course you will get credited in the map for your help.

Just saw this (havent been to this sight in a while)

Well Spawn Points, put them where you think they would best benefit players or teams (CTF or TDM while still keeping it fair.

Lights, well just play around with the properties. Size, Range, Type.

use redpf, click "calculate lights" button on the top bar.

I don't know if you are still trying to work on this map, or if nick gave you the tweaked version i un-fucked for you. Just in case you didn't get it the lighting was totally jacked up which was causing the crash.

All of the things off the top of my head I remember wrong with the map since I last looked.

1. The catwalks on the sides in the center of the map are missing sections.

2. There is remenants of some elevator floating under the map somewhere. looks like its something left over from loading groups from the offical volition group pack (because the UID is like 10,000)

3. There are 500 cone lights on the top of the map pointing in the same (wrong) direction which was causing the lighting calculation to crash.

4. One of the cave brush portions under the map actually have 2 brushes in the same spot.

5. A mile off to the side of the map there is a medkit station that serves no purpose. (which also caused the objects are outside of the level error when saving)

If you still don't have it and still want it I can get it and send it to you.
