FactionFiles - View Thread - Any reason the Unpacker Crashes?

I cant seem to pack or unpack anything using the bat or the GUIs.. GUIs cant find the file and the other just crashes.
Win7, I remember finding a fix for this a long time ago but I cant remember.

Get rid of the "pause" command, try that.
Gibbed.volition.unpack.exe misc.vpp_pc "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Red Faction Guerrilla\build\pc\cache\misc.ppunpack"
Gibbed.volition.pack.exe misc.vpp_pc "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Red Faction Guerrilla\build\pc\cache\misc.vpppack"

I'll have to try that some time. I ended up using a newer version of rick's Packer/Unpacker, it supports drag and drop.
Thanks, have you had any luck replacing the player model? That's my ultimate goal and it seems to cause crashes.. XD

I kinda changed his animation, but its too glitchy i believe it's possible

On trying the unofficial version I found there's no RF3 files. However his original SVN has craptons of updates for the source and decently recent ones that are built already.
I am a bit sad that I passed up on buying RFA this week, I could have started modding that!

On a side note, what's with the port quality audio? a side effect of running Xbox 360 Wavebanks on Windows 7?
Sounds like someones on a radio, and I can barely hear the music above explosions

I noticed most STR2s have trouble unpacking with the new version of ricks unpacker, I dont know if the original one does this....

Can someone see if they see the words "lement>" at the top of their character.xtbl file?
I may have messed something up or the newer unpacker I am using may be messing things up LOL
