Does anyone happen to know how to add a song to a RF map in the editor. I tried the ambient sound thing and it didn't work. I don't think i did it right anyway. I'm trying to add a 4.5 mb song to a map. Could the file be to big? I don't know. I would really appreciate some help on this.

That tutorial should about do it, if you need any other help, don't feel shy.
Quick note: If you want ambient sounds or (the preview button) to work, what you need to do is make a shortcut of the Red.exe. Open up the shortcut you will see 'target' on the main properties page with the file location of Red.exe. What you want to do is add " -sound" to the end of that file location. (there is 1 space between end of the file location and "-sound") So when you done it should look like this
\games\RedFaction\REDPF.exe" -sound
If you need help finding the default RF sounds. If you followed the guide above. You should have the Vpp viewer, basically you open up the file named "audio.vpp" in your red faction directory. Then you should have a list of all the sounds in redfaction. These can be previewed in the viewer for easy picking. When you copy and paste the sounds names into the Ambient sound, Playsound, or Keyframe, Events you must include the .wav extension ending.
So for instance.
"Pressure" will not work.
"Pressure.wav" will work.
I hope this helps. The preview button on RED will not work for custom sounds.

There are some (minor) issues with the tutorial on rfrun but it does work. If it's not working you're doing something wrong

Well i got the song converted to wav format and I did everything the tutorial said and followed it to the letter. Still didn't work for some reason and I know i probably screwed something up but I just don't know what. Wish they had a vid on this instead so I could tell what part I screwed up.
