Upload your maps to FactionFiles and they will be on the autodownloader.

Include the proper information - title, author, description, and screenshot.

Been there, done that .... no action from admin.

Latest file I uploaded still not approved.

Several files downloaded from factionfiles, added to server correctly and not autodownloading when map comes up on server......

So I will stick with mappacks.

The latest file you uploaded doesn't contain an author or a screenshot.

Nobody checks this stuff daily anymore. Goober checks it the most but won't approve stuff lacking those details.

There is nowhere any info to be found or a screenshot for that matter. I found the map on redfaction.info and thought it would be nice to add it. I dont know who the author is.
But nvm the mappack will get it sorted out.

You submitted the author as "unknown" when you uploaded it. If you open the .vpp in the Descent toolkit, the author's name is literally right there. Take a screenshot yourself, it takes a few seconds. The description isn't as important.

I commend you for your efforts in ensuring old maps aren't lost, but put a little effort in to make them presentable and searchable - please. Doing these few small steps is easy, doesn't take very long, AND is significantly more effective than uploading a mappack to Mega.

When I get a few spare minutes, I'll fix the one incomplete submission you made (Blundertowers). I encourage you to submit the remainder of the maps to ensure your server's players can obtain them in a convenient way.
